"A perfect base for exploring East Yorkshire. We spent a day in Beverley (the Minster is stunning), drove out to Flamborough Head for the seabirds, and had a wonderful afternoon at Burton Agnes Hall. "We brought our two children (7 and 10) and they had a wonderful time. The garden was safe for them to play in, and they were fascinated watching the farm machinery in the fields. Bridlington beach was close enough for day trips, and we discovered the brilliant Treasure House museum in Beverley. The cottage felt like home."

"I stayed here with my elderly mother, and the single-level layout was exactly what we needed. No stairs to negotiate, everything within easy reach. The bathroom was a decent size and the beds were very comfortable. Mum loved sitting in the garden watching the hares in the fields. A special place."
